mesh problem st1 and 50r
I had spider st1 and 50r after the update mesh connection lost. both device software are updated and after that mesh connectivity gone. we open devices and activate mesh but can not talk at open mesh channel 1 or 2, when we try to group the devices they do not recognize each other... anyone has this kind of issue and any suggestion to get over this

Thank you for reaching out.
Based on what you described, it sounds like the issue may be related to Mesh compatibility. If both devices are not using Mesh 3.0, they will not be able to communicate properly.
Please make sure both the Spider ST1 and the 50R are fully updated to the latest firmware versions. If one device does not support Mesh 3.0, the device that has Mesh 3.0 enabled will need to switch back to Mesh 2.0 to establish a proper connection.
You can usually find the option to switch between Mesh 3.0 and Mesh 2.0 in the device’s settings menu or through the mobile app.
If you need help walking through this process, feel free to let us know. We are happy to assist!
Thank you,

I’m facing a similar issue after the update. Mesh connection isn’t working even after activating it on both devices. If anyone has a fix or workaround, please share!

Hey Volkan, you're not alone, I had the same issue after updating my ST1 and 50R. The mesh connection just stopped working even though both devices say mesh is activated. I tried resetting both units, deleting all previous pairings, and then re-pairing from scratch, it helped temporarily, but the issue came back. Some users suggest downgrading the firmware if possible, but that’s not ideal. Also, try switching to a different mesh channel and keeping both devices close while pairing. Hopefully, Sena releases a fix soon. It’s super frustrating when everything worked fine before the update. Fingers crossed for a patch!

A mesh problem with ST1 and 50R usually refers to a network or circuit issue where the first source/branch (ST1) and a 50-ohm resistor (50R) are involved. It often requires applying mesh analysis (KVL) to calculate currents and voltages around the loops to resolve the conflict or imbalance.

I’ve had similar mesh issues with the 50R. Resetting both units and updating the firmware usually helps. Worth trying if you haven’t already.

Hi Volkan,
It seems like the recent update might have affected the mesh settings on your ST1 and 50R devices. Sometimes a factory reset on both devices followed by a fresh mesh setup helps, as both need to be on the same firmware version. Make sure they are using the same network name and password, and if possible, try different mesh channels or let the devices auto-select. Connecting one device via Ethernet can also help the mesh re-establish. If none of this works, it could be a bug from the update, so reaching out to the vendor for support or a potential fix might be necessary.
