Firmware update without PC/Mac
Okay, so this is my issue: I own a Schuberth SC2 unit and the app tells me that a new firmware is available for my device (my current firmware has the revision number 2.02). Over-the-air update is apparently not possible (according to the Schuberth-app) and the device manager application needed to update the firmware via USB-connection is only available for Windows and MacOS.
Since I don't own a PC or Mac (I'm fine with my Samsung tablet and smartphone), is there any other way to update the firmware? For example by downloading the firmware file to my tablet and transfering it to the SC2 unit with a USB cable. Or does a device manager application exist for Android systems (don't mind if its beta only)?
I would rather not like to travel to some retailer (for them to do the firmware update), to install the device manager software on a friends computer or to send the SC2 in to the customer service in order to have the firmware updated, so any other useful suggestion would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance,
Y.
