I am sure glad I found this! I had the same issue and found another USB-C cable. Unbelievable that they have us use a worthless device to update firmware.

I did pay to ship my unit back to Sena. They sent me a new unit. Their response time was pretty quick from when they received my defective item to sending/delivering the replacement.

Has anyone else had any success with the Sena Help Desk? I have a request that is well over a month old. The battery won't hold a charge. I've done a factory reset and a firmware update to no avail...
