Freewire
So, how does this freewire off and on with the bike switch work? I have mine mounted in the left fairing pocket (goldwing), connected to a switched power source. When I turn my bike off the freewire stays on.
How do I make it work with the switch?
Thanks
Bill

I just got one of these as a christmas present and have been playing with it for a couple of days (Harley version). Since the Freewire has a battery (and if you followed the instructions, you charged it up first), it's not going to power down when the bike power is switched off, it would stay on until it's internal battery runs out. Good idea though, i wonder how long the battery would last if left connected to the bike?

I AM SETTING MY GOLDWING AS WE WRITE. I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE TO USE THE CHARGER ON THE FREEWIRE TO TURN OFF WHEN YOU POWER OFF THE BIKE.

William, turn off the switch on the freewire. The powered switch from the wing will then turn off/on your freewire automatically.

Edward..
Any issues with with the voice? I added the P&A audio cable to my streetglide coiled it up on top of the radio and installed in the dash. I can't get the bike to recognize voice commands from the Shuberth10U. Sounds great but no microphone. I cant find any boxes on the boom audio for the mic either.
Thanks
David

I've got a Harley version and it does not turn on/off with the bike no matter what I do. Switch on, doesn't turn off. Switch off, it doesn't turn on.
