20S issues (multiple)
I have 2 (two) 20S units, one on my helmet and one on my girlfriend's. My girlfriend's is brand new, installed about three days ago. Mine is fairly new, installed about three weeks ago. During my Sunday group rides with buddies, my 20S will turn off on its own. It's fairly consistent, but never in exact time increments. I thought it was due to inactivity so I would turn my volume down and back up now and then to see if that helped. Still shuts off. Now it's just random. There's issue number one. Issue number two, we finally got to test the pairing between my 20S and my girlfriend's 20S yesterday, and one of her speakers went out. I said it was weird, but my speaker went out this morning. I made sure wires weren't bent weirdly or anything, and nothing was wrong. I setup her 20S yesterday with the new update and then updated mine to the newest software too. Could there be a bug with the new software update that caused the speaker issues?

My 20S has stopped playing sound through the speakers. (Support request in.)
It still works through earbuds. Does yours have both channels working through earbuds? If yes, it might just be intermittent contact with the base. Try cleaning the contacts, and pressing onto base firmly.
Sadly that's not my problem. My wife's headset works on my helmet, mine doesn't work on her helmet either. Almost seems like a software fault after updating. (Updated to 1.7.2. Went back to 1.6.3, but no better.)

My girlfriend's speakers work fine, she was mishearing the one, had her helmet on weird I guess. Anyway, I put my 20S on her speakers and both worked fine. I put her 20S on my speakers and the same speaker was still out. I plugged in earbuds and they worked just fine with both 20S units. This tells me the single speaker is what broke. I sent Sena a support request this morning and haven't gotten any reply yet. I would like it replaced through warranty because the speakers themselves are $35 and it's not worth it if the speakers just die.

OK, sounds like a pure hardware fault, John.
Its certainly possible to have a speaker slide out of position away from the ear, such that it can't be heard or is lower volume.

And that's what was up with my girlfriend's headset. The only problem with that statement is that I had this set up on Saturday night, so I was using it perfectly fine on Sunday while riding with buddies. Then yesterday was the first time my girlfriend and I connected intercoms and mine was fine. This morning I went out to grab breakfast and when I turned on music, I didn't have any sound from the left speaker. I didn't drop the helmet, unplug anything (before the speaker went out), or change the speaker configuration in any way prior to the speaker going out. Otherwise I would agree and say I'll try repositioning the speaker. I did test that out as a possible answer though and moving the speaker didn't yield any solutions.

The only thing I can't know, now that I think about it, is if it's the speaker just crapping out, or the connection between the pin in the clamp portion and the speaker itself.

Could be a loose connection on the bad speaker and the process of putting the helmet on or off could nudge the wire just enough to make it malfunction. You could swap speakers between the helmets to confirm the problem follows the speaker.

UPDATE
So finally after a long wait of two and a half months, my unit was replaced with a new one. All the issues i had, were solved with the new bluetooth. That was indeed a long wait.

I'm still having problems with my 20S. More often than not it sounds like popcorn being microwaved during my communication with others in my ride group. They know when i connect, they say "he's back". They have no issues with other riders devices, just mine. I talked with tech support about this issue and they reloaded the software. That did not fix the problem. I am still waiting to have the issue resolved.

Same problem here. It's Bluetooth functionality and range. If I keep my phone within 8 inches of my headset it works just fine. This will likely require a firmware update to change the radio behavior to accommodate newer devices and updates. I've opened up a support request, if I don't get an answer I'll file a complaint, leave negative feedback, and likely discourage their products from here on out.
