    Hi roger

I had the same problem.  10 Aug 17 I uninstalled the current version using the Uninstaller that comes with the program and reinstalled an older version (V3,3), I had a copy of on another machine.  When it starts it tells you there is a new version and asks if you want to update and I chose NO.  The old version then  identified my SMH10 but crashed out when looking for a firmware update but the important thing was it identified the headset.  I restarted the old version again and this time when it asked if I wanted to update I chose YES.  Hey Presto the new version is downloaded and I installed that over the older version (Note I said over the old version I did not manually uninstall the older version) .  Everything worked, my headset was recognised and the new firmware was installed I could also get at the settings

    Hi Ray,

thank you for your comment but i think, i tried more than just uninstalled the software, i clean install the windows operating system and downloaded the latest version, but it still didn't work. is it possible the device manager is not stable?

    Hi again Roger

What I was saying was doing a fresh install of the Sena Bluetooth Device Manager resulted in the same issue however installing an old version worked then doing an update not a fresh install seemed to fix the issue. Mine works after doing that. I uninstalled and did fresh installs it probably 10 times before I thought bugger it I'll just install an old version. When That allowed the SMH10 tto be recognised Then I used the Programs update option and all worked from there. The update must do something slightly different to a fresh install.

Has this issue been fixed ?   i just installed Device manager for my 30k . it gives an error message . 'Wrong parameters' and locks .

if not how do you get an old version ?

I found a work around that is simple. I plug my new 30K that hasn't had  a software update installed, via USB into my PC . I then opened the Device manager and before it had a chance to post the error I hit next button multiple times and it took me through to the software update page without waiting to recognise  my 30k . After I install the software up date on the 30k, the error window didn't reappear.
