So that we can notify our developers of this issue, can you please be more specific on what you mean by "losing the FreeWire". What bike are you using? If it is a Harley-Davidson, is it equipped with the Boom! Infotainment System?

    Happy,

What happens if you pause the music on your phone? Does it go back to the Freewire?

I can say for the Harley-Davidson with the Boom! Infotainment System that it will go back to the FreeWire if the music on the phone is paused.

Hi Chris, thanks for the fast reply.  When I say "lose Freewire" I mean that my steaming phone music seems like it overrides  the Freewire.  It plays music to my Sena 20s but I can no longer hear or use my cb via the Freewire.

I'm using this on a 1991 Goldwing GL1500. Now the Freewire works perfect on the bike.  It interfaces with the bikes audio and I have full use of the cb and I can hear the bikes audio in the 20s.  Its only when I introduce the android phone to stream music that I lose the Freewire.  Hope that makes sense.

Beans, yes it does go back once i stop streaming music from my phone.  I dont even have to press the button on the Freewire to reconnect.

Btw, for what its worth I've updated my firmwares and I've tried multiple factory resets.  Then carefully connecting my phone as the first pairing.  Then pairing the Freewire as the second phone pairing.

Also my startup sequence is to connect the Freewire to the bike powered off. And then going by the manual I...

    1.Power up the 20s

    2. Let the 20s connect to my phone

    3. Start the bike, turn on cb.

    4. Power on the Freewire.

When I pair the 20s with my iPhone and the freewire I lose the voice command ability with my harley boom box I have a 2017 road glide ultra.
If I am only paired with the freewire and not my iPhone I can use voice commands for my boombox. But once I pair the iPhone the ability to use voice commands dose not work.
I would like to have both paired so I can use the iPhone apps for managing groups and still be able to use voice commands for my boom box

I forgot to mention that when I use the 20s radio it also overrides the Freewire and I can't use or hear the CB.

Hello everyone i have talked to Sena techs at 2017 Americade at lake George NY and they helped me with the problem I was having. And they was very helpful. they suggested that i pair my iphone as a second phone on my 20s and i did just that and now everything works like it should. i can use all of the functions of my harley's boom box and all of the apps on my iphone.

So i just want to say thank you to the techs and post this so that other my find it useful.

    remember--

    1- pair freewire first

2-Iphone as a second phone pairing

    and everything will work great

Hello everyone. I have a 10c and a freewire. I also have the Starcom Goldwing enhancement that connects the UHF CB to the bike. I was having similar problems but Raymond set me straight. I did as he said and everything now works fine. I have the full bike infotainment system, the UHF CB and my android phone all going gangbusters. Yet while I can make and receive phone calls, listen to music on my phone, I can't hear the instructions from my Navigator app. Anyone have any ideas?

Belay my last re the Navigator app. All I needed to do was change the audio output to bluetooth in settings. Now everything is perfect.

just found this old post and thought I'd pipe in.  I've got a 2012 ultra that I have added an Ipod adapter and have that hooked to a bluetooth receiver.  This allows me to play and control my music using factory controls and still have CB Capability.  I pair my phone to my 20s first using selective (HFP) profile and then pair the freewire as a second phone.  This gives me the ability to still receive calls and use SIRI.  Music and CB come through Freewire and are controlled via stock HD controls
