  I'd guess your options to be:

  1) position the speakers in your helmet as close as possible to your ears, using the included spacers, without pressing on your ears. 

  2) increase the bass in your source material. If you're listening to music from your phone, check to see if its OS has an equalizer or various settings to favor bass. 

  3) look for an equalizer app for your phone's platform

  4) get speakers from another manufacturer that a) have greater sensitivity which increases volume and b) have better bass response.
