I have just been talking to Sena support about this and they forwarded me here. It seems this is not on the development roadmap but from the user perspective, very important.

I have this issue also. No one I know uses a separate GPS if they have a smartphone. Why would they? We all use Google Maps on our phones and would like to have directions pass through to our headsets. FWIW, I have an iPhone and an SMH10.

This is true - I recently purchased two X1 helmetsbecause my partner and I are cycling Land’s End to John O’Groats here in the UK in August this year.
We also use RideWithGPS because it speaks turn by turn instructions from our phones.The audio quality is excellent but we found that if we use the intercom, the RWGPS instructions don’t get through because they are a lower priority.
Our ideal would be to use the intercom (we continually talk because we get separated a fair bit) but have the turn by turn instructions cutting in when necessary. I assumed because it is a phone using Bluetooth, the instructions would come through as a priority but they do not.

How hard can it be to change priorities (Bluetooth first), or better yet, enable the possibility for user to choose priorities according to needs (e.g. Bluetooth, phone, GPS)?

Really disappointed this top end headset does not appear support dual simultaneous audio, especially intercom and SatNav / Phone SatNav.
I am seriously considering sending this brand new unit back.
