Sena Latitude S1 max volume beep far too loud

I just put on my new Sena Latitude S1 helmet. Overall I like it, but I noticed that when turning the volume to maximum (by twisting the knob on the left side of the helmet) the helmet beeps incredibly loudly.

It's so loud that it was physically painful and also startled me.

Is it possible to turn the volume of this notification down? If not, then I strongly suggest a future firmware update either lower the volume or allow users to set the volume themselves.

  Apparently ear splitting notification sounds are a longstanding issue with Sena products. Here's some forum threads going back to 2014 where people list similar issues for other Sena products:

  The fact that people have been complaining about similar issues since at least 2014 - nearly ten years - is highly concerning. This sound effect was physically painful. Do Sena representatives monitor this forum for feedback?
