SMH10 Vox Phone or Intercom doesn't work

Our pair of SMH10 devices cannot voice activate the intercom nor can we answer a call via our iPhone 4S by saying "Hello" or speaking anything to answer the call. We tried restoring the firmware to v4.0 but that didn't work. Currently, we are using v4.2. Anyone else having these issues?

  I can activate by blowing hard into the mic but not by speaking into it.

  I enabled VOX intercom, it will activate intercom by blowing into it as it says but It never goes back to my music after 20 sec..

  Also, I us Pandora for music,  is there a way to turn pandora on.. It's on but just needs to hit play button.. Hard to do when riding..

  Phone is able to charge on ANY charger I've given it so far: usb/computer, Garmin chargers, and a slew of other 12v car adapters. The only problem is the Sena 12v car adapters. They only work on the SMH10s and NONE of my other devices like Timebusinessnews. I agree with your conclusion that they're putting out a very low amperage - just enough for the SMH10 and my other usb devices need more. Too bad they can't be used globally, like all the other adapters I've tried.
