  Pablo,

  You also need the Sena Device Manager app in order to update your SMH5. You can get the Sena Device Manager app here: http://senabluetooth.com/support/software/

  I'm having the issue despite downloading the application. It recognizes the unit at first. And then later it does not recognize the unit and the download of the firmware fails. Now, my unit is in operable and will not turn on. I'm going on a motorcycle trip in three days and now I'm kicking myself for even trying to update to the latest firmware edition...
