anyone have pronlems using siri with thw new ios7?
I cannot use siri with the updated ios7. I received a call while riding on 10/5/2013. The phone never rang after the music muted. Pressed the phone button to answer but the people calling me could not hear me at all. After I got home I thought updating the firmware would help, but to no avail. I watched siri when I pressed the phone button and the flat line on the screen would wiggle slightly and after a few seconds siri would list options to help me. When I use siri only with my phone it worked perfectly. I have also restored the previous firmware before the update. Another problem - PLEASE GET RID OF THE VOLUME LIMIT!!! When I am riding I can barely hear the unit at all. Not much point in trying to listen to something I can't hear.

Phone is able to charge on ANY charger I've given it so far: usb/computer, Garmin chargers, and a slew of other 12v car adapters. The only problem is the Sena 12v car adapters. They only work on the SMH10s and NONE of my other devices like wink pro mod apk. I agree with your conclusion that they're putting out a very low amperage - just enough for the SMH10 and my other usb devices need more. Too bad they can't be used globally, like all the other adapters I've tried.

That definitely sounds frustrating, especially since it was working fine before the update. If Siri works normally when not connected, it points to a Bluetooth or audio routing issue after iOS 7. You might want to try fully deleting and re-pairing the device, resetting network settings, and checking if there’s a separate mic or call-volume setting that isn’t linked to music volume. The volume limit is also a real issue for riders hopefully the developers consider adding an option to disable or increase it in future updates.

You’re not alone several users have reported similar Siri and call audio problems after updating to iOS 7. The fact that callers can’t hear you while Siri partially responds suggests the mic input isn’t being handled correctly over Bluetooth. A clean re-pair or firmware update from the accessory manufacturer may help. And I completely agree about the volume cap on a bike it makes the feature almost unusable. An option to remove or adjust the volume limit would make a huge difference for safety and usability.
