SMH10 paired to SM10 and garmin 665?
I have a pair of SMH10s, a garmin 665, a SM10 and an iphone (actually 2 iphones, one for me one for the wife)
What I want is to pair my SMH10 (v 5 firmware) to the garmin 665 for direction, xm radio and iphone through garmin, as well as pair it to the SM10 for bike audio.
For the wife, wanting to pair her SMH10 to the SM10, for bike audio and to her iphone for phone and music from phone
I had iphone and SM10 paired with my headset at one time, upgraded to 665 and v 5 firmware at the same time. Just can't get this to all hook up.
Thanks
Bill

I have the same scenario and need to know how to pair everything.
I know better than to "hold my breath" in this rarely visited forum, tho.

Pairing:
It's best to clear all pairings in all the devices and start over.
1. Pair the 665 to the SMH10 using Mobile Phone Pairing (see the SMH10 user guide).
2. Pair the SM10 to the SMH10 using Mobile Phone Pairing
Power on sequence.
1. Power on the SM10
2. Power on the SMH10. This should connect to the SM10.
3. Power on the 665 to connect to the SMH10

I couldn't get mine to pair the way Dean describes. I have the same devices, but since my bike has the XM built in to its radio, I don't currently use the XM from the Garmin.
The only way I could get the Garmin (665) and the phone and SM10 to play well together was to use "multi-point" to pair the Garmin. It all works very well now.
Turn your phone's BT off. Turn off the SM10. Turn on the GPS, go to BT settings, tell it to pair. Press the jog dial and hold it until it says "multi point pairing" and release it and the 665 *should* connect. then pair your phone and then the SM10.
Win I turn mine on, I will get beepbeep phone connected,.....beep device connected (the Garmin).... beep media connected (SM10). Sometimes the order is swapped. The most reliable pairing is now the GPS. I don't know if this will support getting your XM from the GPS, though, but I think it will. The SM10 will have the lowest priority. You might also try using an aux cable to connect the GPS to the SM10 as the AUX jack on it has priority over the input jack. I will occasionally need to press the button or power on the SM to make it pair, but usually I don't touch any of the peripheral devices. If the headset doesn't pair all three, my default repair is to cycle power on the headset, only.
