As far as I know (I'm a mechanical engineer, so not my expertise)  this is not possible without a wifi connection to the phone, so the unit would need a wifi chip which I'm almost certain it does not. If you compare this to a GoPro which has video preview in their app, they achieve this by using wifi. Bluetooth cannot handle the data transfer rate to give you a video preview, as far as I can tell.

It should be possible as bluetooth 4.0 uses 802.11 standards and has 250Mb/s transfer speed theoretically

Correction 25Mb/s for bluetooth 4.0 but the data rate of 1080p 30/fps should be under 3500kbps or 3.5Mb/s so theoretically it should be possible if they had it set up in software. Even if it were lower quality it would be nice

It will be useful if you transmitted an image to the cell phone with only 5hz just for calibration procedure.

Thank you for this request. We will look into the possibility of adding a preview feature for the 10C.

It would be a definite need for me as I am a Motoref for USA Cycling and could easily view incidents.

Try this http://www.eyefi.com/, sometimes works fine and sometimes does not, but it is the best for now.

No, just in the regular SD size, no micro and I do not think it will ever, since it needs the wi-fi parts

Pepe, without the microSD we can not use it for the sena 10C

You got to use a micro sd to SD cable, easy to find in EBAY

Apple IOS supports an external memory card reader. So you can view the C10's video and photos immediately on your iPhone. You do have to remove the memory card from the C10 to view the images.

This seems like a very basic need. Even if it is just a still image. If you get a new helmet while on the road, or want to move a 10C between two helmets, a simple way to know that the Camera is aimed correctly is important. Trial and error by removing the micro SD card and then accessing a computer, and then doing it again falls below common usability expectations. I hope this can be remedied quickly. Or they can give us all 10C Pros which support tells me can preview out of the box.
