10U - BMW Nav IV - IPhone 5: no stereo music from the Nav IV
I would like to use my new 10U as I've been doing with my Schuberth SRC. IPhone paired to the Nav iv, then the Nav iv paired as "mobile phone" to the 10U. All devices with the last firmware versions available.
I've followed the instructions and already read everything available in forums, etc. I've tried to follow steps noted in another posts mainly as follows:
1. Deleting all previous pairings in the Iphone, the Nav iv and the 10U.
2. Pairing the IPhone to the Nav iv.
3. Pairing the Nav iv to the 10U as main "mobile phone".
When this steps done, sometimes I succeded in having stereo music, what happens if I see in the screen of my Nav iv the music icon in the map. Nevertheless when I switch off everything and I switch on again devices pair... but when I launch music from my Nav iv is only in mono and there is no music icon anymore remaining like that whatever was the order in switching on the devices. At the beginning I though it could be the Iphone paired with the Nav iv but the issue remain when I drop the IPhone paired with the Nav iv.
If music is on and I switch off the 10U music is heard on the internal speakers of the Nav iv... which is supposed is a feature only for the zumo 660 and not for the Nav iv...
Any idea how this "basic" configuration can work as expected with stereo music from my Nav iv which is my main reason in having purchased the 10U?
Thanks in advance

I've tried again... and it's always the same... whatever "parametter" I change (Vox intercom enabled as I read in some posts for the 20S, disabled, High A2DP enabled, disabled, etc...) with factory resets, deleting all pairings... once I pair my Navigator IV the music is in stereo and the music icon is present in the gps... but once I switch off the 10U or the Navigator IV the stereo music is lost even if I can start the music in mono with the remote control despite I can not enter in the mp3 menu of the Navigator having the message that "I have to connect an A2DP etc..."...
Sena, please!!! Are you there??? ;)

As hope is last thing to loose, I've tried this morning something that I read in the 20S forum coming from Sena... from factory reset (my most common manipulation in the 10U...) pair first my Iphone to my 10U as "Mobile phone" then pair my Nav IV to the 10U also as "Mobile phone"... and pay attention later that the 10U pairs first to the gps having the Iphone BT off... result... does not work either... as usual music is in stereo until the time that the BT connection is lost... and when repaired again music stays always in mono...
The 10U is now on the box waiting to be refunded by my dealer... afting having spent some hours of my time trying "basic" paring... I do not want to thing about more "complex" 10U "actions" with other devices...
Good luck!

Why not just pair directly with the iphone and the 10U? The iphone map software is fine and works really well over bluetooth.

I have execly the same problem, the only solution I found out is to pair again every single time you brake the connection. It looks like a A2DP problem, because once you broke the connection, you only got mono after reconnection if you try it with a Zumo 660, and the navigator IV gives the answer that you need a headset with A2DP reconnection. So, in my opinion the U10 makes a HFP connection when reconnecting.
Please SENA change the software, start reconnecting also with A2DP in stead of HFP, AND THEN IT WORKS PERFECT! Now it sucks!

Anyone knows if firmware 1.0.1 has solved this issue?

I have just installed the 1.1 software for my GTAir 10U and I'm still having the same issue with my Zumo 665 as stated wtih the BMW Nav IV.
I too have been deleteing the pairing and reconnecting to get the A2DP working again.

I brought the two sets back to the shop because we have a Zumo 660 and a BMW Navigator IV, and after three weeks of problems Sena still got no solution. They tested it and had the same problem with the Zumo 660

Have have both the BMW Nav V and the Garmin 665. The Nav V seems to have no issues reconnecting in stereo, but the Garmin 665 does. My Nolan B4 has no issues with either. It streams both in stereo and reconnects fine. I suspect the issue is with the Sena rather than an A2DP issue. I think a firmware update should correct this. Additionally, my wife's SMH-10 has no issues with either. I connected both just as a test, the SMH-10 performed without flaw.

Maybe the new 1.2v firmware for the 10U has solved this issue?

unfortunately, not for me :,(
Sena 10U + Iphone 6S + BMW Navigator V0 -
I have my Android phone paired with the NAV V and the NAV V paired with the 10U. BTW I have the BMW cradle with the four buttons on it. I have 2008 GSA so no wonder wheel. I turn on the bike first which turns on the GPS, then I turn on the Sena. I hear "Phone one paired" and a tone. I notice that if I don't get the tone, the A2DP will not play my music files from the GPS. Occasionally, I will have to turn the Sena off and start over again (just the Sena). It will work. As a test, you might try removing the GPS from the cradle and see if you can get A2DP pairing. On other forums, owners have stated there is something about the newer cradle that is preventing mp3's from playing.
