Sena 10c not recording any sound...
Hi all,
I just went Go Kart racing, and the video is perfect, but there is no sound - does anyone have an idea why?
Could this be a setting? I have checked them all but might have missed something.
Is it more likely to be a mic problem?

Are your video files being recorded as MOV (Apple Quicktime) or MP4 (PC/universal) format on the SD card? I have noticed that if a MOV container file is renamed to MP4 container then played back on a PC using Windows Media Player, the video codec is the same and recognized for playback but the audio file format is different so no sound is heard.

Turns out it was just that it changed my computers sound output device to the Sena, from the speakers.
It recorded sound fine after all, I just couldn't hear it.0 -
mine was upgraded recently...to vers 1.0.4
the video format changed to MOV instead to MP4
so no voice heard after that...
how to change the format back to MP4?

Hello.....any one? 0 -
I guess I won't be doing the update as I prefer the mp4 format... not sure why they switched it - not a whole lot of participation in here with Sena.

The switch to the MOV video file format was to fix a minor bug that was caused by recording video files in the MP4 file format.
If you want to revert back to a previous firmware then you can refer to this F.A.Q. as the same steps apply to downloading an older firmware file for your headset. http://support.sena.com/entries/25625644-How-Do-I-Change-the-Voice-Prompt-Language-on-My-Sena-Bluetooth-headset-
