Hello Alexander,
I guess you probably have things fixed by now, but I just now saw your question. I had a similar issue. Unit would not turn on. People at Revzilla suggested that I reset the unit to the factory default. Mine is the GT Air model and the factory reset is in a small hole on the left speaker (check you manual). I reset the unit and it works fine now.
