Allow the user the option to keep A2DP stream active during SR10 Audio mixing
I have the SMH10 & SR10 and although I know intercom conversations and phone conversations stay active and are mixed with the SR10 audio coming in, A2DP music is temp turned off during SR10 audio. I'd like to see an option that is controlled via the software to give the user 3 choices.
Choice 1 - (Default) A2DP audio is muted 100% during SR10 audio (as it is now)
Choice 2 - A2DP audio is muted 50% (or user selectable %) during SR10 Audio
Choice 3 - A2DP audio remains 100% during SR10 Audio mixing .
While on a recent trip, I tried hooking my GPS to my SR10 to be able to hear the navigation instructions, but the frequent interruptions to my music made me choose to disconnect the GPS so I could listen to my music. I also went through an area where I had frequent interference while having my Ham radio hooked up to the SR10 and my music was once again muting 100% multiple times in a row. I think for me I'd choose the option of having the audio only muted slightly during SR10 audio if I was using the 2 way radio, or maybe 100% if I was only using the GPS, but I'd like that option to set it with the software. Either way, I'd like to still be able to hear my music mixed in the background with these other sources.
I'd even take this one step further to see the feasibility of also having the same options to keep A2DP active during intercom conversations if its just one other user maybe? Sometimes its nice to keep the intercom active between my wife and I so we can immediately say something to each other, but still have music playing in the background. Again, being user selectable would allow everyone to set this the way they see fit best.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will do the feasibility of mixing music with intercom or phone conversation so that you can set it up with proper volume level with a software. We will keep you informed later.

Let me add a big +1 to this feature request. I'd also like the ability to keep the A2DP stream going during either SR10 input or intercom, just drop the volume of the A2DP stream instead of blanking it entirely.

Big +1 from me too to allow A2DP to continue during intercom.
Additionally I'd like to be able to transmit my A2DP stream when during intercom (for pillion use), but I realise this would need to be configurable as not all riders will want to share/hear anyone else's music stream. A special favourite/pillion pairing would be ideal to tailor a number of features for on-bike vs bike-to-bike. I know that's a big job though

Andy, for sharing music, Sena already has the SM10 that allows 2 people to share music from the same source, so I don't think trying to share music through someone's intercom transmission would be feasible, plus it wouldn't sound good either. However part of what I asked for opening up the music streaming in the background during intercom, might be something Sena can also do with the Sena SM10/SMH10 and make it available in a menu selection on the software.

Hi Dan, Sorry to hijack your thread, I got sidetracked by the second post.
My two needs are:
1) Keep my own A2DP stream during intercom and SR10 - as you original post.
2) Keep and share an A2DP stream. I'm not sure the SM10 quite fulfils my needs as I don't think it allows a wireless connection from the music source itself and (less importantly) doesn't allow AVRCP control of the source. Perhaps wired connection to an SM10 is my only option though if it mixes as the SR10 does.
I've raised point 2 as new questions to avoid more chatter on your thread:

+1 for Dan's request. That would be fantastic.

Same here but for the SMH5 :)

+1 To the original thread!
This would be perfect - I use the intercom with my wife while she is riding her bike along with our group... typically we don't actually talk all that much, but still leave the intercoms on for most of the ride for those 'just in case' situations. I also have a radar detector hooked up through my SR10, and the same thing applies... certain areas have a lot of short bursts of radar and currently the music is constantly going in and out through those areas...Being able to continue to hear my music in the background would be awesome in both of those situations!
Thanks!

Big +1 for Dan
I just got 2 SMH10 with SR10 this month. When I listen to the mp3 from my smartphone (A2DP) , the SR10 passes the GPS signal and the Radar warning voice in , and then cuts my mp3 off.
I am so annoyed with that.0 -
Is this on plan ??

Yes, yes, yes! Please make this happen!

Thank you for your interest. We have been still doing the feasibility study. But reflecting the study, we will have to put the feature on a next product because of the capability of the current hardware. But it is not decided. We will keep you informed later.

Please put this feature in SMH10. I just bought Sena and start to love it . Please make me complete .

Add me to this list. I'm on a mailing list with a number of others and this came up because it's easy to have one device (a Valentine 1 in my case) that will hold the SR10 audio channel open and blank out primary A2DP. I'd be pretty happy if it just took all the inputs and mixed them.
I'm a little disappointed that the current hardware can't do it, but not totally surprised. I've been more than a little impressed at how much additional capability you've added via software updates already; I'm getting spoiled :-).

Hey Sena, would love to see an update on this one! You've given us a lot of features, but this one still bugs me the most.

RG15 here - I have the SR10 with AUX1 for my H-D audio input AUX2 for my GPS and the radio DIN input for my RMS CB. My problem is the voice alerts from the GPS are set at MAX volume and still do not sound even with the H-D audio input MUTED from the console at the Boombox I tried turning the volume up on my paired SMH5 bt headset but still no GPS audio. If I unplug the direct speaker wire from the SR10 the GPS alert volume is normal from the GPS itself. Any suggestions????? Help Desk HELP!!!!!!!!
