I would definitely not mind a message on Power off. Even if it was an option I had to activate in the menu. Extra points if it only says the battery level is low if it's under 50%.

The motorcycle magazines who talk about these Sena should report this really big problem and hopefully Sena would react quicker than the 4 years of this topic. Somebody is hearing at Sena?

+1 for the unit TELLING the battery level.

It is rather difficult to see the led on a 10U.

For those of you complaining about the dificulty to "see the leds" and/or that would like the Sena to "say" the battery level, one clarification. Sena already has that feature on their Sena units. All you have to do is hold the power on buttons when turning the unit on for three seconds I believe. That way when the unit starts up, it will tell you the battery level verbally. For those of you who didn't know this, I would recommend reading your manual.

However, those of us who mentioned we would like the Sena to AUTOMATICALLY say the battery level on power off below certain battery level were requesting a different function. Namely that the device would tell you without need of you asking it to. If I have to already know or suspect that the battery is low, then I might as well charge it anyways. We want it to be automatic so it doesn't turn off by surprise when we weren't aware it was low to begin with.

The other issue is that it is pointless for the Sena unit to tell us the battery level if it incapable of actually telling the battery level correctly, which seems to be the biggest issue. We will keep complaining as long as the Sena unit keeps turning off 5 minutes after the first "Low Battery Level" warning.

Thank you for your feedback. We will get back to you after investigating this problem.

July 31 2012 is nearly 5 years ago, and still no fix for this problem?

I was thinking with you guys, and I think it should be possible to make use of a timer that gets reset when it is charged (Blue LED turns on? > Reset timer). Then make use of multiple tests to see what time the Sena system can stay on using Intercom/Bluetooth/etc. Then use this data to calculate a rough estimation for remaining time.)
