microphone extension cable
A microphone extension cable for the SMH-A0302. The microphone cable is too short to use with my flip helmet.

I ran into the same issue in using a wired microphone in Nolan modular helmet.
A longer microphone wire, about 2 inches, would do the trick.

Just installed a SMH10R with the wired mic into a Bell Revolver flip-up helmet. I cut the wired mic cable and extended it by about 4 inches and it works great. I had an autocom before and what I didn't like was the boom mic and the cable from the helmet the autocom system. I love this setup! Sena, could you provide an extension cable in future kits. Flip-up helmet owners would be please by it!

Now 11-12 years after the original post, I bought two SMH-10 kits to build a paramotor-helmet with 3M-Peltor earcups.
I need to put the SENA-unit slightly on the back, so I needed a standalone mic and bought also the SMH-A0302 and realized like others that the mic-cable is ridiculously short. If possible I would order a 15-30cm extension-cable for the mic and one for one of the speakers as well, with both male and female connectors.
Any new solutions?0
