Ability to add SMH10's to Group intercom
Would be nice to have the ability to add SMH10's to the Group intercom list. I see you can add 20s's but it does not seem to recognize a SMH10.

You may be able to add the SMH10 to the 20s Group as follows:
Pair the SMH10 to either the first or last 20s you are going to use in the group intercom list.
Turn on all the units and initiate Group intercom. Once everyone in the Group is connected, try connecting the 20s on the end of the chain that's paired with the SMH10 by conventional connection using the jog dial. You do this just as you would with the SMH10 when there is no Group intercom active.
Don't know if this will work but it's worth a try.

The Group Intercom feature is only available on the 20S so only a 20S headset is able to be added to list when setting up a Group Intercom. However, the SMH10 can communicate with a 20S by pairing them together using the Multi-way Intercom feature.

Can a rider on one end of the Group Intercom chain who is technically connected to one other rider via the Group intercom function simultaneously connect to a conventionally paired smh-10 user through the conventional intercom function?

I hope this is a feature that will be added in one of the future firmware updates. It should be technically possible, at least in 3-way or 4-way configuration. Being able to use a dedicated button is so much more convenient. I am currently using one 20S and two SMH10. I am sure there are many customers that have a mix of two.

To Senad, Oct 21: You can do intercom with your mix of 1 20s and 2 snh10s using the multi-way intercom.
I have commented on this thread a couple of times. Sena will not confirm or deny my idea to engage group intercom with the multiple 20s units in the group, then have the head of the group (who is only connected directly to one other rider via Group Intercom) to connect with one SMH10 he is directly paired with. Unfortunately it will be several months before I can get the necessary units together to do a definitive test, and Sena tech support will not investigate this possibility on their own.
As far as a firmware upgrade enabling smh10s to directly participate in a 20s style Group Intercom, I don't see it happening- smh10s probably do not have the hardware capability.
