We will look into the possibility of allowing you to control the camera on the 10C using the Handlebar Remote.

I also bought the handlebar remote, thinking I could control the camera. Seems like it should be easy to configure. The 10-C has two buttons and a jog wheel, the handlebar remote has two buttons and a joystick. Isn't that enough? Please, Sena, give us our money's worth.

Really please to see a response from Sena that they will look into this as I too have posted similar questions elsewhere in this forum but alas my questions never geta response. I hope you do not mind me piggy-backing this tread but I also have a request with regards to the very high pitched tone that tells you you have reach the maximum volume as one example. It scares the hell out of me and is quite dangerous when riding. Can this be changed to something more rider friendly like the voice that says hello/goodbye?

Coming back to the handlebar remote - Within the iphone app I would like to be able to assign button function for the remote. This would allow me (the user) to prioitise function depending on which device I am paired to? Fells like a winner to me! I do appreciate it may be beyond the limits of your programming department (Challenge!)

I've been using the 10C for 3 months now...the only thing holding me back from buying the handlebar remote is the lack of camera control...this would be especially helpful in the video tagging mode, as I typically 'arm' the camera before I start the ride by going into tagging mode. It would be a great feature, and adds to rider safety by keeping both hands on the bars!

Perhaps you could make the functions of one or more of the buttons programmable? For example, select between FM Radio and Camera control for the rear button.

I asked the same thing to the tech support dept. of SENA. However the answer is negative.
I find this very silly because there are more buttons than RC4 for example. RC4 can control the photo and video functions but "Handlebar Remote" not.

They can change this situation with a simple firmware upgrade. I ask it as a customer request

The Handlebar Remote is not able to control the camera on the 10C Pro because it would conflict with the other button operations on the headset. If you wanted to control the camera with one of the buttons on the Handlebar Remote then you will be controlling something else at the same time (volume, changing tracks, starting/stopping the intercom, etc.) depending on what feature you are using at the time. The RC4 was designed with a dedicated button to operate headsets with special features. For the 10C Pro and 10C EVO that would be the camera.
