Static as well

I am also hearing static on my new Sena 20s. I can barely hear it using speakers but when using in ear headphones (using splug) it is very loud. Seems to be interference with my phone. I move my phone around and I can get the static to change its frequency. Do I have a defective unit?

  Just got my unit (bought the other half of my friends dual pack) and I have the static issue as well. My SMH10 does not have it. NOT HAPPY!
