Harley cable and clamp cover adapter
I bought the 20S clamp kit for Harley with CB.
Love this thing and it does pretty much exactly what I want. There are a few issues or requests I have, though.
After forgetting to turn on my 20S, I've found the wired portion does not work unless the 20S is turned on. This will be problematic upon occasion. Don't think about charging the 20S and get low battery, Goodbye, at the beginning of a long ride where you were going to all stay in touch via CB. Then you realize you left the clamp cover adapter sitting at home because you had the 20S attached. Oops. Because the cable doesn't work when the 20S is off you have no comms even though you have the cable attached.
Same idea with the Harley cord. This one will become more an issue after the freewire gets out. Got the 20S set up for my phone and the bike. No problem. Now the 20S dies (or the freewire dies). The cord is sitting at home. Oops.
I don't know about anyone else but ideally I would like to have a clamp cover adapter in each of my riding jackets and vests. Then I can't forget one just like I've got a copy of the registration in each.
I would like to be able to pick up another cord for the Harley without having to buy another clamp kit. Then I can throw the extra cord into the saddle bag I keep "oops stuff" for the bike.

I'm glad your Harley adapter clamp is working so well. I'm on my second setup, and still can't seem to broadcast via the Harley CB. I figure I must be doing something stupid: my Sena 2.0 is turned on and works perfectly between bikes, and the cord is plugged into the port on my Ultra. But when I push the PTT button, no one on CB seems to hear me - and I'm on the correct channel. Has any one else had this issue?

What is the part number for the adapter clamp cover? Does it let you use the wired connection when the 20s runs out of battery? I use the wired Harley adapter connected to the bike audio cable (2015 RG Special) or wired adapter and a Freewire depending on duration of my rides. I have had fairly consistent issues with microphone working with either and have to monkey with it to find the "sweet spot" where the connections seem solid enough to work. Been through all the versions of software and am currently on the 1.7.x.

As far as I can tell they don't sell it separately. I've asked repeatedly.

Okay, I think I see it now as part of the A-0203 kit. Will have to look for it tonight at home. Does it make the comms work though when the main unit is off?

You physically remove the 20s off the mount and put this plate onto the mount where the 20s goes. It's effectively creating a Harley helmet mount as there is no Sena bluetooth module attached any more.

Okay, I'm looking at the PDF and is says without the main module, you only get CB and bike audio system which is fine. I'll have to check if pairing my phone to the "infotainment system" allows me to use that as well without the main unit.

Well, I use it exactly as if I had a Harley headset on when I just have the plate on. Intercom works, cb works, all the radios work, and with this bike which has bluetooth built in I get my phone via the bike.

Great news, I'm sweeping for a large ride to Bike week tomorrow and now I won't have to worry about battery use on the 20S. Now as long as my microphone keeps working I'm all set!!
