Multiple Device Usage? How?
Please correct me if I'm mistaken here.. but the manual for my Sena states:
The headset can pair with multiple Bluetooth devices such as a mobile
phone or GPS via Mobile Phone Pairing, Second Mobile Phone
Pairing and GPS Pairing.
Note: the manual goes into ZERO details on how to switch between each device..
I paired the Sena with my iPhone (Phone Pairing) and then with my other iPhone (Second Mobile Pairing) ... Only 1 device can be used, and it seems that the last one connected is the active one. I have to turn BT the bluetooth connection OFF from 1 of the iPhone, in order to use the other one. (Since the manual makes no mention of how to switch between the 2 devices from the Sena itself.)
I then tried pairing the Sena with my iPhone (Phone Pairing) and then to an Insta360 (Second Phone Pairing) .. both device connected; but When the Insta360 is powered on, it receives Audio (via the MIC) from the Sena.. However audio from the iPhone can not be heard.
I then tried pairing the sea with my iPhone (Phone Pairing) and the Insta360 via "Phone Selective Pairing" but the Insta360 won't pair to this mode of the Sena. I then tried to reverse this > Insta360 via Phone Pairing & iPhone via "Phone Selective Pairing" .. Insta360 is powered on, it receives Audio (via the MIC) from the Sena.. However audio from the iPhone can not be heard.
I then tried the above steps again, instead using "Media Selective Pairing" .. Insta360 won't connect to the Sena in that mode.. reversing the pairing, returned no better results..
I then tried iPhone connected via "GPS Pairing" and Insta360 via "Phone Paring" .. again Insta360 gets audio from the Mic, but no audio can be heard from the iPhone.. (Oddly discovering that when the iPhone is connected via "GPS Pairing", the Volume heard from the Sena is much louder than when in "Phone Pairing" mode)
What am I missing here? The Sena claims to have Bluetooth 5.0 (listed under "Product Features" in the manual) along with "Audio Multitasking" .... With Bluetooth 5.0, I should be able to broadcast to two different devices at the same time..
- Insta360 X4 = BLE 5.2
- iPhone 15 Pro Max = 5.3
Each paired device is capable of the same multiple connection function supported by Bluetooth 5.x . In fact Bluetooth 5.x is capable of connecting up to 7 devices at once..

Profile-Based Connection Management
The Sena device manages these connections by splitting them into specific profiles (HFP, A2DP, etc.). For example, if a device is connected using the media profile (A2DP), it will not handle calls unless it is also paired through the hands-free profile (HFP). or if you are using a standalone GPS you would use GPS pairing / Second Mobile Phone. if using GPS from your phone, you need to change your GPS app settings to play GPS via bluetooth phone call.
Media Selective Pairing
Media selective pairing is intended for devices whose primary function is audio playback, such as MP3 players or phones used solely for streaming music. This connection uses the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), allowing for high-quality audio streaming without incorporating hands-free communication features.
Secondary Phone Pairing
The secondary phone pairing feature is designed more for specific functionalities rather than connecting an additional phone in its entirety. Typically, this connection is utilized for devices providing GPS directions. It’s important to note that this does not create a fully redundant connection like the primary pairing. As mentioned earlier.
No Dynamic Switching Between Devices
Finally, please note that there is no functionality within the Sena device to switch between different devices dynamically for varying tasks. The connectivity and functionality you experience are strictly tied to the profile under which the device was initially paired.
In conclusion, when setting up your Sena device, you will need to choose which device to prioritize for specific functionalities, as the device does not support seamless switching between connected devices based on different use cases.
Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.
and yes the Insta360 ACE/ACE Pro are compatible in Phone Pairing mode utilizing the full Hands-Free Profile.

50S have four channels: Phone, 2nd Phone, GPS, and GoPro
Can only have one device per channel....though there is a an exception for the phone channels...but that exception comes with major limitations.
Both phone channels can support the following devices: phones, motorcycles (Gold Wings, Harleys, Indians, BMWs), and iPods or similar. GPS systems can connect on the phone channels, but they tend to have issues or limitations when doing so. Better to use the GPS channel for GPS systems.
There is no way to manually switch between devices / channels . The headset has built in prioritization tables that automatically switch between devices / channels. It is based on the protocol (HFP, A2DP, ect) each device is sending over. Most devices only send one type of protocol (phone, CB nav voice commands, music, ect) at a time.
Insta360 is not compatible with the 50s. Only GoPro 8 and above and only when paired on the GoPro channel of the headset.

This "community" forum seems to be as poorly designed as the Sena functions..
I left a response to "Richard" 24 hours ago, that is currently still sitting in "Pending Approval" status..
And the "Official Comment" provided ZERO value to my initial question.. Just gives me a copy/paste answer from the manual, which I've already read multiple times trying to find the answers needed..
How the hell do you use 2 devices at once? Bluetooth 5.0 is totally capable of this, so why is it not possible, if it's not possible? To push people to buy more Sena crap? ie. MeshPort Red..
I'd gladly pair my iPhone as a "Media Device" to only use it for music, If it means I can use two connection at these same time.. as I have zero interest in taking calls while riding. I go riding to get away from people, not talk to them on the phone..
(Sidenote: There is no REPLY BUTTON on any comments, in order to directly respond to a comment.. wtf kinda forum doesn't have a Reply Button? And who is Approving comments, or in this case has failed to do the task after 24 hours after a comment is made?) ... I'm buying a Cardo!

You can have multiple devices connected at the same time
Each device has to be connected on a different channel
Only one input for one device will be active at a time
The prioritization table determines what input/device gets selected. The prioritization table is in the manual.Selection is fully automatic. You can not make the selection.
Audio- muktitasking setting will allow music to fade into the background when a phone call or intercom is active
Cardo and all other headsets work the same
Cardo support is worse than Sena
I have a Cardo Edge, Cardo Black, Sena SRL+Mesh, 50S, and SRL 2

Might you want to run delta executor official on a Windows PC? On the off chance that the response is indeed, you're in the legitimate spot and shouldn't stress. While Delta Agent is certainly one of the best Roblox Android agents, many individuals might want to utilize it on a Windows PC.

Hi,
I'd like to know more about the way to connect a Sena 60S to get the audio out to record it while talking with Mesh 3.0. When I connect my voice to the phone, it does disconnect all communications. I have bought 3x 60S. It says that it does connect and manage 3 different sources of Bluetooth connectivity.
Regards,

Michel Boulet - the problem is that the phone actions are higher priority than intercom, so it will shut down or not record intercom. Best way is to have another device such as an action camera connected on the GoPro channel.

On SRL3 i can have the GPS (zumoXT2) send A2DP quality to SRL3. When the radio is active though I will not hear the GPS sound. Lowering quality on GPS or turning off the radio P makes audio work again. Is this how it is supposed to work?
