Mesh microphone for Google Assistant voice control

I ride a BMW F850GS and if I want to use the bike's media/telephone controls on its TFT at the same time as SRL Mesh, it eliminates accessing Google Assistant via voice (very important to have when your hands are on the handlebars). The only way to have GA working is to connect SRL Mesh to phone ie. not through the bike's TFT - but that leaves the bike's media/telephone controls via its TFT inactive. It's really very important for SRL Mesh to accommodate all systems so that they talk to one another.

  Hi Martin,

  Thank you for your thoughtful feature request. I understand the importance of having seamless integration between your Sena SRL Mesh system and the BMW F850GS’s TFT, especially when it comes to using Google Assistant while keeping your hands on the handlebars.

  At present, using the SRL Mesh for intercom and media controls on the bike’s TFT can cause some conflicts with Google Assistant voice commands. This happens because the communication link between the phone and the TFT is sometimes interrupted when SRL Mesh is active. I agree that it would be incredibly beneficial to have a more integrated solution where both the bike’s media/telephone controls and Google Assistant work simultaneously without having to choose between one or the other.

  I will forward your suggestion to our product development team for consideration. Integrating all systems in a way that accommodates both intercom functionality and hands-free voice control would certainly enhance the overall riding experience.

  In the meantime, you may want to consider adjusting the Bluetooth settings between your devices, though I understand this workaround may not be ideal.

  For the best integration, it might be worth contacting both BMW and the SRL Mesh support teams. They could have insights on potential software solutions or compatibility adjustments that may resolve the issue PolyTrack without needing to sacrifice functionality on either side.
