Sena SMH10 can't hold charge and won't turn on

Brand new sena smh10 unit. won't turn and and can't hold a charge to save it's life. Tried the reset pinhole button on the back. nothing happens. can't update on the pc or anything. what do i do?

  also none of the buttons work: cant turn on or reset
