Static noise when using intercom on SMH10
The static noise is so bad that my passenger and I could not speak to one another and eventually had to turn the unit off. No matter what we did it would not stop without turning the units off. Also, I bought this from Revzilla and since I "opened the packaging and installed it they will not take it back!" VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERICE IN MY EYES! BEWARE. So now it seems I am stuck with a useless set of headsets that do not even make good paper weights.

What do you mean with "static noise"? Do you want to say that there is noise ALTHOUGH the devices are not active, there is no communication-channel open? Or do you want to say that there is a lot of noise while an active connection between both devices?
Due to the fact that depending of the helmet and position of the mic and the "windshield" of the mic and speed and other parameters the mic will take a lot of noise an all-time-communication is not really possible. I am using an open helmet and the mic always takes the driving-noise and wind-noise although I made a lot of test with different kinds of windshields. So I am using the device only for temporarily communication. On the other hand friends with closed helmets can talk all the time w/o to loud noise in the background.
