Bluetooth fix for Harley and Honda
Please consider making a dongle that plugs into the 5/7 pin connectors. The dongle size could be greatly reduced from the size of the Freewire, and should realistically be about the same size as a car cigarette lighter. Similar to the Freewire, but a better form, and it would completely eliminate wiring for the device.
The device would simply convert the input/output from the din connector to/from a usable Bluetooth signal. It would seem that most if not all of the technology to create this product would already be available to Sena.
Pairing information could be stored on nonvolatile storage (potentially the same storage that the firmware is installed on), which would prevent the need to re-pair when power is lost.
The chief advantage of the smaller form factor is the elimination of wires. Currently the Freewire allows you to swap one set of wire tethering you to the bike for another set of wires running to the Freewire. While this is a workable solution, it is by no means a clean setup.
