SENA 10C Pro - recommend Micro SD card(s)

What type/standard Micro SD card(s) are recommended for the SENA 10C Pro?

 

SENA does not have the common sense to put it in the 'specs' section of the unit nor can I find any reference to Micro SD cards anywhere else on their web.

 

And yes I already know that SENA state the size limit is 64 BG.

    I have tried a few including the Samsung 64gb EVO Select and a Sandisk Extreme 64gb U3 A2. I have not found a single SD card in 64gb that the 10C pro will recognize.

    If anyone finds a current 64gb sd that works, please post details here!

    SENA Australia responded to an email I send (they give far better service than the parent company) and said not to use Sandisk as there were instanced where they did not work with the 10C Pro.  So I purchased a 32 GB Samsung Pro & 64 GB Samsung EVO and tested these out and had no problems what so ever.

    It is a Samsung 64GB microSDXC EVO UHS-I Class 10 U3 Memory Card 100 MB/s.  It cost $18.98 AUST at mwave.com.au here in Australia.

    I've got the Verbatim 64GB Pro and it's not working well. It records 8GB and then the 10c Pro tells me the storage is full.  :(

    I have a SanDisk 32gb  HC I U1 That seems to work fine.

    Based on what Kym is using, I ordered these 2 for testing:

    Card 1

    Card 2 -Confirmed working.

    Hopefully at least one of those work! I will update here when I find out.

    I have a SanDisk 64GB and I just found out you have to format the card before it can be recognized.  I did this using the Sena iPhone app.  I’m not sure how else you can format it.  I was able to update firmware after it was formatted to the phone.

    That's great news Cindy! Can you share the exact model SanDisk 64GB you got to work? Maybe post a link? I have tried several SanDisk 64GB cards and none of them are working- Even after formatting them on the computer and within the actual device. It seem as though only certain 64GB cards will work.

    I'm using a SanDisk 64GB. After having issues with the 10C Pro recognizing the 64GB SD Card, I formatted the card using the following steps:

     

    Purchased from Costco SanDisk Ultra Plus V10

    You can format the microSD inside the 10C by following these steps.

     1. Enter the Camera Configuration menu by pressing and holding the Camera Button for 8 seconds until you hear the voice prompt, “Camera setup”.

    2. Rotate the Jog Dial clockwise or counter-clockwise to cycle through the different options.

    3. When you hear the voice prompt, "Format SD card", tap the Phone Button to remove all of the files on the microSD card inserted into the 10C.

    4. Tap the Jog Dial once to exit the Camera Configuration menu

    The steps you listed worked for SanDisk Extreme Plus 64GB V30.

    Firmware update worked after formatting card in the 10C Pro.
