Approximately 75% of the 1000+ members of my local BMW touring club wear Shoei Neotec helmets. The vast majority of these riders that use the Shoei product choose to wear some form of custom in-ear protection with built in headphone capability. The current version of Shoei SRL system locks us out of using our own headphones as it relies on the built in speakers that come integrated with the system. This forces us to attach our comms systems to the outer shell of the helmet in the traditional way thus compromising the aerodynamic design of the helmet. You should consider therefore adding a stereo mini jack to the system in order that it can be more widely adopted in the touring rider community.
