Pairing SRL, Freewire, and Zumo 595
I have replacing my old GPS with a new Garmin Zumo 595. I currently pair my freewire to my SRL and my phone. My current GPS feeds into my GL1800 and then into the freewire.
My phone is a Samsung note 20 Ultra that I have a lot of music on via the memory card. I see with Bluetooth the phone to the GPS, I get some control over the phone player, but no album browsing.... However I could also use the line level audio out of the zumo to feed into the freewire aux in.
However if I do that, I would still need the phone to have a Bluetooth connection to the SRL for phone calls....
Can I have phone calls go to the Sena via Bluetooth and have the high quality audio go through the line audio out of the zumo?
Or I can I feed the low quality GPS instruction audio go out of the line out into the bike intercom system like now, and the high quality stereo coming to the GPS from the phone go to Bluetooth to the SRL.
Or just have everything Bluetooth to the SRL and ignore the freewire for the GPS and just use Bluetooth?
I still need my freewiee as that carries my bike FM, radio and XM.via the bike output into the freewire. That won't change.
So what is the best way to wire and pair? And in what order....and what is primary phone, secondary, and GPS.
I know I only have 2 high quality SRL Bluetooth connections so freewire is one. The other needs to be the zumo or the phone. It can't be all 3. That is one reason I am thinking about using the wired out of the zumo for either the stereo audio out into freewire or GPS out and then into intercom system on bike.
Or would the aux input on the freewire work for both audio outs? Interrupt my bike audio for GPS instructions or if phone music playing?
Finally, wherever the GPS turn instructions go, it needs to interrupt the freewire bike audio and phone music if playing.
Thanks,
BJB
