I have tired to update the firmware on my SR10 and the Sena bluetooth manager recognises the unit and tells me that I can update the firmware from V3 to V5.1, however, the progress gets to 9% and it will not go any further. I have left it all night but it will not go past 9% and I have tried a factory reset but to no avail. Is there anyone who can help pleae?

Ken Kimari Hi Tony - Are you sure about your unit being an SR10? That model is the two-way radio adapter.

Tony Bond Yes Ken that ios what I am trying to update the firmware on??

Ken Kimari The current firmware for the Sena SR10 two way radio adapter is V1.2 last issued in 2012. Not sure where you are getting your higher version from but there doesn't seem to be an upgrade beyond 1.2. Search google "SR10 current firmware" and you will find the information I'm going by at the Sena site.

Tony Bond Ken, Thank you for taking the time to comment. I think I have found the answer. I noticed that the Sena device manager seems to be identifying my SR10 as a SMH10 as that is what is displayed in the top right corner when it is connected. DM obviously thinks that my unit is a SHM10 and needs the firmware updated. I probably had the latest firmware all along but the misidentification of my unit led me to think that there was an upgrade waiting to be downloaded. This does present a potential problem though. If there is ever an upgrade in the future, then my SR10 is not being recognised as such in DM?
Thanks again.
