Driver shipped with Sena Device manager incompatible with Win11 Core isolation/ memory integrity feature
I cannot enable the Memory Integry feature on my WIn11 (22h2) system due to the presence of incompatible drivers
The incompatible driver is csrbc.sys which according to Windows is related to the senabluetoothdeviceusb.inf
Thank you for fixing this.

facing the same issue, the mentioned driver is also being used for the HJC branded devices

They need to get a fixed version from CSR/Qualcomm since the update driver is a "blackbox" provided by the hardware vendor.

I have a problem with my driver shipped with Sena Device manager. I installed it on my Win10 Core and when I try to start the application, it crashes. I read in the help section that the problem is caused by a feature called "memory integrity" and that if this feature is turned off, then the driver will work correctly. Getting bestessays about this topic is really helpful for future researches.

This info is current as of 2/2023:
From the Windows 11 Start menu, go to Settings, choose Apps from the left and when the menu shows on the right, select Installed Apps. Go down the list until you can see the Sena Device Manager (Mine is called Sena Bluetooth Device Manager 4.4.0). Click on the 3 dots to the right and click on Uninstall.
Now, turn on the Memory Integrity from the Core Isolation area of Windows 11 Security.
Now install the Sena software again. It's common to find the .exe file in the Downloads folder.
The Sena software only impedes the installation, not the operation, of the Memory Integrity Protection. You still have those drivers, but the memory integrity protection is on and the Sena software is back to working.

The above doesn't work. Even after uninstall and reboot the incompatible driver is still present.

If the Uninstaller did not remove the driver, keep the Sena program uninstalled and do a manual search for the driver from the c: drive. When it shows up, delete it.
Once you get the Memory protection on you can re-install the Sena and it will install the driver again.

I think that's the wrong app to remove actually. Under Installed Apps I see this:
I think that's the one to remove, will try it.

After removing the above, and restarting, I was able to enable Memory Integrity. I have no need to reinstall the Sena software for now.

The Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR of the CSRBC) is the driver that the Sena Manager installs. Once removed, you got the Memory Integrity on, and if you ever need to re-install the Sena Manager the installer will re-install the driver. The driver will not interfere with the operation of Memory Integrity. Glad it worked for you!

I confirm it works for me now. Thank you.

Windows 11 will not show the screen for memory protection anymore. How do I get the Device Manger to decognize SRL-Mesh in Windows 11?

The screen for the Memory Integrity is found at:
Settings, and choose Privacy & Securtiy in the left panel. The right panel will change and the first option should be Windows Security, click on it. In the right panel about half-way down will be Device Security, click on it. That will open a new screen and Core Isolation should be at the top of the list. Click on the blue hyperlink that says Core isolation details, the screen will change, and Memory Integrity should be the first option listed. You can turn it on and off from there.
You can also start typing Core Isolation in the search bar and click on the link to go straight to the page.
Remember to turn it back on after your updated.

I have enabled Memory integrity after removing the drivers but when I connect my device it is still not recognized in windows 11. Any other steps needs to be followed?

Re-install the Sena Device Manager software. It will re-install the driver.

Because the update driver is a "pico park" given by the hardware manufacturer, they must obtain a corrected version from CSR/Qualcomm.

Core Isolation is no longer available in Win 11 Pro 23H2 :( I am stuck

I have Win 11 Pro 23H2 and Core Isolation is available. Please go to the Start menu and in the Search box at the top, type in Core. The first result should be Core Isolation, System Settings. Choose this and it will take you to the screen where Memory Integrity should be your first option.

win11 Pro version 23H2, OS Build 22631.3447
What I get is "Page Not available" The definition below the wording is as follows. The page you are trying to access has no supported features and is not available.
LIKE I HAVE already posted the device manage works great if you run the program install the USB into the computer. Turn on the helmet headset and plug in the cable. The headset will turn off, and when you press next in the Device managers program the head set is recognized and you can update the firmware. This is how I do it now, and it s very reliable.

Can anybody show a screenshot of the Windows Device Manager or share the exact name? Does the USB Serial Bus Controller shows as 'Cambridge'? I hear the sound when I plug in the cable and the screen refreshes, it shows an extra "Generic USB Hub" with Microsoft driver. Not the csrbc.sys.

HI I have deleted this program several times and still have probelms with the driver. I have changed one of the program files (csrbc.sys) the update file to .old but the original program (csrbc.sys) won't let me change it or delete it. It is no longer in the driver section but has moved to the file repository file in :c drive. (C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\senabluetoothdeviceusb.inf_amd64_0f7402cbe4c76089)
this is driving me absolutely nuts and I still can't turn on the Device Memory.
Can I delete the file from the FileRepository - I'm not going to use the Sena product on my computor again as it caused too many issues.
Thanks in advance

Ok This has plagued me for a while but i have a fix that worked for me. Go into Device Manager. View by type. Open up Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Go down the list until you see the sena one. Right click on it and go remove driver. Tick the Force removal box. In the list it shows up on my computer as OEMxx.inf (SenaTechnologies.inf). note xx is becuase i cant remember the specifics
