You can make calls and receive incoming calls using your TomTom Rider in conjunction with yourheadset or phone.   Same page. Quite clearly said, You need them both.

Page 59 To make phone calls, you must first connect your headset and connect your phone to your TomTom Rider.   Believe me, You can't make calls through TT.

550.  TT is well known of it's limitations. Garmin should work in a way You described.

Yes, with the phone which is connected both GPS and headset. I'm wondering, why the other phone is connected to GPS only, if that is TT?
