intercom fail message
I got my 20s a few months ago, mainly to use as a headset for my Garmin 590. I have an I-pod wired to the Garmin and my phone bluetoothed to the Garmin. The plan was to buy a second 20s for my son if the first worked out ok. Everything worked ok for a while, the volume through my earbuds was a little much, had to use in line volume control, also kept getting occasional beeps that I didn't know what meant. I was on a 1500 mile trip, just me using the 20s to listen to the Garmin when I started getting a couple beeps, no audio from the Garmin, and then "intercom failed". At each rest stop I would email Sena support, got replies, tried their suggestions, no luck. It got to the point I just shut down the 20s. Long story short they replaced the unit. I finally got a chance to try the new one and I'm getting the same intercom failed message, probably 7 or 8 times in a 40 minute commute. I've reset the unit, disabled everything that can be disabled and still getting intercom failed. I'm not even trying to use the intercom.
