Harley Davidson 20s
Will the Harley Davidson Branded 20S headsets be updated to the 20S EVO headsets? Supposedly the Sena 20S only has mono audio(I have read this on many forums BUT have not confirmed myself, YET) with the Harley Davidson WHIM (Wireless Headset Interface Module) & the HD 20S has Stereo output to the speakers in the helmet!

Just a quick comment. The regular 20s does connect mono. I have confirmed it myself (as of Oct 2017). I also purchased the HD version from the dealer. It is stereo, and sound pretty good.
A little geeky here, but the firmware update files for both units are the same exact file. I checked it with a hex editor.
Somewhere Sena is differentiating them in the actual unit. I don't know if it is a hardware difference or a software difference.
If software, they should be able to fix this. If they don't, it is a clear sign of disrespect for their customer.
Either way, the audio quality of a phone connection is far (very far) inferior with the phone-whim-20s scenario. With just the phone and 20s, people could not even tell I was on a motorcycle. With this new setup (and the hd 20s) people complain about all the pops and crackles.
Music quality is decent. Not as good as just the phone-20s scenario, but still pretty decent.
