SRL can't factory reset or pair to new phone

I bought this SRL and have used it successfully for years for emergency response and road safety duties. I have a new phone Samsung S22. I tried to pair the phone. When I hold down the centre button for 12 seconds the SRL goes straight to pairing but does not appear as parable on the phone. I can't access the SRL menu as it goes straight to pairing so no option to delete previous pairing or to do factory reset. Fault reset doesn't solve the problem. How do I solve my problem and pair my new phone? My old phone S21 is still connected.

  you need to hold the button longer until it tells configuration menu, then you can go to phone pairing with the + and - buttons. the pairing without is the sena<-->sena pairing

  Many thanks for responding so quickly. I found out that myself last night but too late in the day to return here and post my solution. Unfortunately the instructions for pairing say hold for 12 seconds to get the configuration menu. Holding for 12 seconds gets you a message saying the the intercom is pairing. Why wouldn't users expect that to pair when trying to pair? Instead you have to ignore the intercom and hold for about five seconds longer to get the menu and work through it to clear existing pairing before you can pair as first phone. Manual should reflect the behaviour of the intercom.

  Got caught by the same issue initially. thats why i recognized it that quick.
