Sena pi Audio Multitasking
Is it possible to have the GPS audio from Google Maps play and have the intercom going at the same time on the Sena pi?

It shouldn't be any different than when you have, for example, earbuds or headphones on.. so you would just have to pair it via phone pairing by holding the + button down until you hear phone pairing. Then, once your phone is paired, you should be able to hear the music and GPS play in the background. For me, on my iPhone, the GPS voice will take over and lower the music volume down, but it can still be heard in the background.

I am able to use GPS alongside music. This behaves the same as if I'm doing that in my car. When the GPS voice has something to say the music volume lowers while the navigator speaks.
The issue is with the intercom. My wife and I were out for a bike ride this past weekend and we wanted to use the intercom so we could chat, while at the same time use Google Maps for turn by turn directions. Whenever the intercom was active, no audio from my phone could be heard at all. I tested this with both Google Maps and Pandora. The intercom seems to completely override any audio coming from the phone.
Having to stop the intercom to hear the turn by turn directions basically means I can't do both at the same time. We can either use the intercom and chat, or one or both of us can ride in silence waiting to hear the navigation prompts.
I noticed there are two different intercom pairing methods. Smart pairing and button pairing. In both cases the intercom seemed to override all audio.
Could I just be doing something wrong? Should we be able to chat over the intercom and have the GPS directions cut in or have music play in the background?

Just wanted to respond here for anyone who happens to find this through a Google search. I had also opened a ticket for this, and just got a response.
"Unfortunately Pi does not have an Audio multitasking feature."
