HJC SMART 50B / connectivity with Interphone U COM-16 and Tour
Hi,
I have purchased the order for HJC SMART 50B. However, I have a friends who are using Interphone U COM-16 and Interphone Tour (2 of them with U COM-16 and 3 of them with Tour). Would I be able to connect to the Interphone units?
I have read that U COM-16 is using mesh 2.0 and therefore it should not be a problem to connect with the HJC SMART 50B. The Interphone Tour is using just bluetooth 4.0 and not mesh.
If someone with mesh would make a bridge from himself than he should be able to connect with Interphone tour via bluetooth and then the rest of us should be able to communicate together via mesh.
The question is. How many bluetooth units can pair to the one who is in bridge mode? We have already done it before where 3 guys have Sena with mesh and I had a Interphone tour with just bluetooth and it worked fine. The only disadvantage of the bridge mode was, that it is consuming more power and therefore battery does not last as long as in the normal mesh mode.
Thank you for any recommendation

Hello,
It's important to note that while our devices support universal pairing, there's a limitation in that only one non-SENA device can be paired at a time. This means that you cannot pair multiple non-SENA devices simultaneously; it's limited to one non-SENA device paired with your SENA device at a given time.
A user who is in Open Mesh or Group Mesh when using Mesh Intercom is able to include one Universal Intercom friend. You can start a Two-way Universal Intercom conversation with your Universal Intercom Friend to include it in the Mesh.
