The new Sena SHM10-M01 has an echo on intercom

I am experiencing a background echo on the intercom function with both units having just paired a brand new pair of SMH10-M01 upgrade units - is there a solution or recommendation ?

• One headset is paired to an iPhone as HFP only and the same one is also paired to the BMWK1600 management system,(as A2DP)  with SatNav option.
• Iphone works fine, as does BMW music from radio or USB, and Voice commands from Sat Nav are relayed via BMW unit fine.
• 2nd unit is only paired to the first as an intercom.

Problem is only on intercom function, using without VOX .

  Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem with a brand new SMH10 that's paired up only for intercom.

  Does anyone have an answer to the problem?

  Bob, I completely switched units (clamp & jog) and the problem remained so after a lot of testing do not think its a fault. I think that the issue is that because my wife can't hear herself (unlike the Harley wired system, the Sena has no audio monitoring) she talks louder. By talking louder I hear her voice through my helmet along with the processed signal from the SMH10. Due to the radio signal latency it all sounds like an echo. New bike next year which will be quieter so that should help. I also hope that they might include audio monitoring (hearing yourself speak) in a future update Cheers
