SMH10 earbud plate w/iPhone- no music

Was using smh10 with speakers with iPhone 4s no issues. Bought a earbud plate for better audio, put the plate on a seperate helmet, unit still paired to the iPhone. I have audio from the sena chick and the tones, but when I play music, it does not play. The iPhone does have sena selected for the audio out. I can use Siri or phone calls no problem. If I switch to the plate with speakers, music plays fine. Earbud plate- no music. Any ideas? Sent email to sena cs no response in the last week. Firmware v4.0.

  I just bought the earbud kit and am having the same issue with an iPhone 5.  Just installed the kit.  First time I tried playing music it worked.  I was messing around with the phone functions and that worked, but when I tried music again it only comes out the phone speakers.  Everything else comes out through the earbuds.  Hoping there is a way to resolve this.  Thanks.

  here's a couple of suggestions:

  on your phone go to Bluetooth and turn off your bluetooth, then turn if back on.

  power cycle your smh10.

  if you continue to have the same issue. list out all your devices connected to the smh10.

  or you can try to re-pair your smh10 and phone.
