Charging problem
Two months ago i`ve buyed your product (Sena SMH-5 FM) via e-bay (new).
Last days had a problem with my battery. It goes down for a hour and wont carge every time when i connect it to the charger.
Since yesterday it worked well. Now i cant charge it. When i connect sena to charger (PC USB or wall charger) indicator flashing red/blue and sena wont charge its battery. When its connect with charger red indicator shows 4 (fully charged) because of charger. When i disconnect from charger and turn it on red indicator shows 1-2 red ilnes and sena dies in 10 seconds.
Please help me to solve this problem - my handset is new and i wanna good work from it.

Phone is able to charge on ANY charger I've given it so far: usb/computer, Garmin chargers, and a slew of other 12v car adapters. The only problem is the Sena 12v car adapters. They only work on the SMH10s and NONE of my other devices like iggy azalea erome site working on all device. I agree with your conclusion that they're putting out a very low amperage - just enough for the SMH10 and my other usb devices need more. Too bad they can't be used globally, like all the other adapters I've tried.

I've noticed that my phone charges flawlessly with just about any charger I throw at it—USB ports, computers, Garmin chargers, and a whole bunch of 12V car adapters. waho The only outliers are the Sena 12V car adapters. They seem to work exclusively with the SMH10 units and refuse to charge any of my other devices. I agree with your assessment—they’re likely outputting a very low amperage, just enough to power the SMH10, but not sufficient for phones or other USB gear. It’s a shame they’re not as universally compatible as the rest of the chargers I've used.
