Pairing SM10 and iPhone with SMH10 ver 4.2
I used the method described in the forms to pair 4.2rc1 and everything worked well. I've now upgraded to 4.2 and have the following problem. I reset my SMH10 after the upgrade, paired SMH10 with iPhone using the default phone pairing. I can now make/receive phone calls and listen to music from my iPhone. Turned of bluetooth on my iPhone and paired SMH10 with SM10 using default phone pairing. I can now listen to my Goldwing and get both music and GPS. switch everything off, turn on buletooth on my iPhone, turn on SM10, turn on SMH10 and hear that the SMH10 has connected to my iPhone but never hear that media has been connected. I can still play music from my phone but not by Goldwing music or GPS? While 4.2rc1 did not let me use voice commands while connect to the SM10 for music at least I did not have to repair everytime I want to ride my Goldwing.
Any help would be great.
Regards,
Mike

This forum question from Mike was answered through our email system. Doing a factory reset on the SM10 and SMH10 and repairing resolved the issue this time.

How do I do a factory reset? I'm have a problem like the above person. Phone pairs with 2 beeps but the media will not pair. This is after downloading an update

Hi Mike,
1. To restore the SMH10 to factory default settings, press and hold
the Phone Button for 12 seconds until the LED shows solid red
and you hear double beeps. You will hear a voice prompt saying
“Factory reset”.
2. Within 5 seconds, press the Jog Dial to confirm reset. The headset
will be restored to factory setting and switched off automatically.
You will hear a voice prompt saying “Headset reset, good-bye”.This is found in the user guide: http://senabluetooth.com/products/smh10.php?tab_menu=downloads

I have just bought an SMH10 set, the dealer tells me it is to the latest firmware level (I haven't checked) and I find I cannot connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone 4S or iPod, both of which are running iOs 7.
Can you suggest how I can resolve this please?
Thanks

I have now sorted this out. It helps if one reads the instructions fully.
