Pair the iPhone with the Zumo 660

Pair the SMH5 with the Zumo

Then, when the phone rings, it is routed via the Zumo 660

All your contacts automatically are shown on the Zumo 660

Navigation from the Zumo 660 is heard via the SMH5

Music can be stored and played on the Zumo 660 through the SMH headset (saves iPhone batteries)

    Cheers

    Pete

    Markus,

You need to use the SMH5 multipoint pairing instructions to pair your zumo. Please see the SMH5 user guide on how this is done.

    1. Turn on the headset and press the Jog Dial for 5 seconds until the red LED is rapidly flashing and you hear multiple beeps.
    2. Within 2 seconds, tap the Phone Button again, then the LED turns to blue flashing and the beeps turn to high tone double beeps. You will hear a voice prompt saying “Multipoint pairing”.
    3. Search for Bluetooth devices on the GPS navigation screen.

Which pairing method should I use to pair my Sena 10R with my Zumo 665 (to which my iPHone is paired.

I'm getting some quirky sounds and reactions with the Zumo paired as a phone.  I tried multi-point and the same result.

I want to use the Zumo's phone interface features, so I paired the phone with the Zumo.

I want to be able to hear the Zumo and also be able to talk on the phone through the Zumo to the iPhone.

The User's manual shows 4 different ways to pair, but doesn't tell the best way for my system; nor does it really explain the attributes and drawbacks of each.
