Hi Sena, you have a great product, but I can't upgrade because your manager fails to open the USB port. Please fix this. I can't connect to my TOM TOM GPS until the upgrade is done. Thanks

@PaulThetford : I don't know if you've tried it but tis worth a shot : use a different USB cable - Maybe one you use to connect your phone to your laptop or if you're using the SENA supplied cable, use the one that has an L-connector. The smaller simpler cable is only meant for charging and is incapable of data. Another thing to try would be to make sure bluetooth is turned off on all devices that could or had been connected to the headset before.

I should've updated this thread before but I received a response from the Sena rep on a ticket I raised. I was quite impressed with the response time on a weekend and the rep suggested a couple of tips. I figured out the second point from my comment above and believe it or not, my headset - which I had given up as a brick - did get updated to the latest firmware and have been happy using it so far.

Hi Adi, thanks for taking the time to respond. Just tried all the above and absolutely no progress.

This happened to me, and I fixed it by pluging into my desktop (Windows 10) and a usb 2.0 port and trying again.

I think USB 2.0 is the key.

90% HANG PROBLEM SOLVED: Must use a USB 2.0 Port (NOT 3.0) on your computer with original USB cable. After a few seconds at 90%, you'll get a yellow pop-up screen instructing to hold center and + buttons until pop-up disappears (worked for my SMH10R after a lot of troubleshooting). You do, it does, and completes to 100%.
