  I suggest performing a Factory Reset and a Fault Reset on the SMH10 first followed by powering the headset back on and placing it into Phone pairing mode. Finally, go into the Bluetooth settings of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and press Scan. The SMH10 will show up and then tap on it to start the pairing process.

   

  The steps for Factory Reset, Fault Reset, and placing the SMH10 into Phone pairing mode are all covered in the User's Guide.

  I also have a Samsung S4 and with my SMH3 I can hear music and multimedia but can't couple the audio from the Phone. I will try to Factory reset, I tried to upgrade the firmware (Italian) but without any success. In the bluetooth settings of my S4 I can't select the SMH£ as a Phone audio.

  If you continue to have issues, try rebooting (turn the power off, not the screen) your phone as well.
