Wayteq x960bt
Hi,
I have an SMH10 and I try to pair with a Wayteq x960bt.
It does not work, I tried A2DP and HFP aswell, but the GPS device says "pairing failed or rejected"
Do you have an idea what can be the problem?
Thanks,

It is very likely that this GPS can only be paired to Bluetooth phones, like most in-car GPS. Which is why it is rejecting the pairing to the SMH10 headset.
Here's what it says from their website: http://www.wayteq.hu/en/x950bt
With it's built-in bluetooth connection, x950BT can make or recieve calls your through your cellphone.

Viktor, the reason why this is not working is because this is a GPS device that is made for cars. More specifially, it is designed to be only used with a Bluetooth phone and not be used with a Bluetooth headset. According to their website for the description for the Bluetooth capability of this GPS "It’s the wireless way of connecting to our mobile phone. This way we can use the phone’s speaker as a loudspeaker." The SMH10 can't be used to output the sound from the GPS because it can't be paired to Bluetooth headsets.

I see, thanks.
I plan to buy an SR10 to be able to use my PMR, do you think I will hear the navigation if I connect SR10 and wayteq via cable?
Thanks,

Yes, if the Wayteq has a 3.5mm stereo jack then you can use the 3.5mm stereo cable that comes with the SR10 to connect the Wayteq into the SR10 and hear the directions in your headset after pairing the SR10 to the SMH10.
