Audio sounds high pitched and without bass on SMH10R

Hello!

i only recently received this set but from the very beginning i was dissappointed about the Sound Quality. There is hardly any bass and the higher sounds start Scratching soon when you turn the Sound up. What i have done so far: firmwareupdate, factory reset, paired it again (as Telephone and Media device)

I dont think i can accept such a Sound for the Price of the unit.

Any ideas?

  I have found adding foam earplugs actually improves the sound quality though having to increase the volume decreases battery life.
